Need help with getting new drum heads?
I want to get the Remo Pinstripe drum heads, but I've only looked at a few others. So if you know better heads please list them, i want deep pitches on my toms. Also, how do i measure my drums to know what size heads to buy?
Pinstripes are good for the sound you're after. You want a 2 ply head for a deeper sound. You just measure the diameter of the drum. On a standard 5 piece kit you have a 22" bass, 12" and 13" toms. 16" floor tom and of course a 14" snare. If yours is a beginners or "Fusion" kit it could be 20", 10", 12", 14", 14".
